V1/e need to encourage quality commercial. redevelopment with in the vacant areas of the city core with projects that will enhance tax revenues. 1Ne also need to encourage a variety of retail in the downtown areas. I see Petaluma as a beautiful historic riuerfront town, with a revitalized` downtown and a thriving Theater District. At the same time. there is under utilized ;properties with in the core that have great economic potential, specifically with-in the boundaries of the Central Petaluma Specific plan. Tf~e General Plan (Plan) is 'the guiding document and vision for tfae City.
