Page 3. Third line down. Revise the corrected sentence to read:

walking distance" .

Public Comment There was no one wishing to speak.
LARRY JONAS GENERAL PLAN CHANGE - The City Council discussed at
great length the number of units they felt this property could hold . After a
long discussion it was moved by Vice Mayor Tencer, seconded by Brian Sobel
that this property have a General Plan designation of Urban .Standard; there
be no more than 12 primary units constructed on this property; no Granny or
Accessory Buildings are allowed on this property; and the developer shall
enter into a Development Agreement with the City of Petaluma confirming

AIRPORT COMMISSION LIAISON REPORT-
• Councilman Balshaw, Airport Commission Liaison, noted the Commission
adopted some bylaws which established their meetings at 7:00 PM rather
x than early morning .

SIDEWALK. REPAIR REPORT . ~ ~ , ~,' ' ' . .
City Engineer Tom Hargis showed a video tape of a sample blbek which
has fractured sidewalks, concrete joint separations, , sunken cobblestones
and sidewalks raised by tree roots . During the Council's. discussion., it
was emphasized .the .Council ..does .not wish to .see tree'sremoved as'tpart
of any sidewalk restoration project. It was noted that some cities share
the costs with the property owners on afifty-fifty ("50 / 50) basis : .After
considerable amount of discussion, the Council asked staff to. come'baek
with several suggested alternatives for improving the condition- of the
sidewalks, to develop a budget for .this project,' and a new sidewalk
restoration policy.

meeting . The Commission was reconvened .

ZONING ORDINANCE REVISION CONSULTANT
Reso. 87-60 NCS approving contract with Henn, Etzel and Mellon, Inc. ,
for consulting services to assist in the revision of the Zoning Ordinance.
The City Council asked staff to see the proposed format and to know
what alternatives are available as the process goes along . Introduced by
John Balshaw, seconded by Vice Mayor Tencer.
