The fee shall be the lower of the following: (a) Major Facilities Traffic Mitigation Fee if established by the City prior to close of escrow of any units in this subdivision, or, (b) One Hundred and Fifty Dollars per daily trip end per unit [the number of trip ends per day generated by the project will be 10 per housing unit] . The Finance Director reviewed the following alternatives _ ~~to ~ ~ increase revenue: admissions fee on entertainment function tickets; business license fee increase; building fee increase; user service charges; rental fees for city-owned property, _interest earnings, and utility users fee. After a brief recess, the City Council ~cliscussed the utility users fee at great length. At the conclusion of the evening the Council requested that staff proceed to prepare for a public hearing on the latter proposed revenue source and asked staff to develop comparative dollar information on the amount of revenue that would represent the proposed exemptions and the amount of revenue that sewer and water users might bring in.
