Long from the Police Department reported on the current status of the Police.. `} •' • ~ i" The Council made some suggestions for future •d'epartrriental~•"reports.'•~f ., r. ;.:;.i - Council, requested a= conger range ~ comparisoxi than just the change of years period of time. They would also like to have information on population increases and other data that might affect any statistics a department would be using for these reports: - - - ~' i - For Police Department reporting the Council asked if-~ •they 'would- '-be able to differentiate on their statistics whether their activity relates ~i 'fo "weekend entertainment!' vs. !'domestic violence". ' - When there is a "professional. hit" in the homicide count, the Council would like to be aware of that.
