WEED ABATEMENT ~~ Y
The public hearing was opened. There being no one wishing to speak
the hearing was closed. Reso. 85-247 NCS confirming :cost of
abatement of weeds ordered abated by Reso. 8:5-107 NCS'. Introduced
by Jack Cavanagh, seconded by Roland Bond.

Mayor Mattei

RESO. 85-248 NCS
TOLAY LAKE
Reso. 85-248 NCS declaring opposition to the creation of T'olay Lake
for storage of wastewater. After some discussion, the resolution was
introduced by Lynn Woolsey, seconded by Michael Davis.

Mayor Mattei

WEST and LAUREL INTERSECTION
Mr. Paul Schoch of Hogan and Schock, descr-ibed the possible design
alternative he had prepared for Council consideration.. T.he
Councilmembers requested that he also prepare a design alternative of
a lesser scale than that which he had just presented. The item was
continued for more information.
RECESS TO STUDY SESSION
The City Council recessed to a study session at 8:00 p . m. to hear a
presentation from Leroy Bean, architect for the op lice facility= on
Petaluma Blvd. North and to hear a presentation from Richard Coombs
on specifics of the proposed Marina Ground Lease. The meeting was
adjourned at 10:00 p . m .
The discussion of Rainier Avenue was continued to Augy~t~2.
