construction of a 5.61 acre park. He reviewed the neighborhood/Recreation
Commission/staff planning process that has taken place over the last.-~y.ears.:

There was a request from some residents of the area that the matter be
,;, continued to give them an opportunity to discuss this. The City Council
..,aJconsensus was to request the contractor agree to a continuance until
:~;;t;August 5, and, prior to that date, the City and residents would meet again
r.egar.ding the project. Mayor Mattei will appoint a committee of the
Council. Recreation Director Raymond scheduled Wednesday, June 19, 7:30
p.m. at Joseph Ellwood Community Center for the neighbors to meet.
