' 1302 HOLM ROAD DEVELOPMENT PLAN
-,,;.Reso.r`~85-114 NCS approving the revised unit development plan for an
industrial condominium conversion at 1302 Holm Road. The City Council had
approved. the development plan by adoption of Reso. 84-74 NCS on April 16,
1984. The Planning Commission recently approved the following changes
from the original approval:
(1) Amend the angled parking stalls to '90° angle stalls';
(,2) Delete the condition of masonry walls to retain landscaping berms;
(3) Change 5 foot landscaped parking. lot buffer to '3 foot landscaped...'
,.; ,,°(4) Change breaks in the building be filled with similarly colored plaster to
~, ~ .~,r~ ~br~eaks shall be 'covered by the construction of a redwood band around
::a.~ . the .entire building perimeter' .
After;a good deal of discussion, the Council revised the above by agreeing
to approve the development plan with a .five foot landscaped parking lot
buffer or a three foot landscaped parking lot buffer with 'bumper blocks'
placed on the pavement in such a way that stops the parking automobiles so
that. the leading edge of the parked vehicle does not cover the planting
area. The Council also agreed the landscaped berms along the Holm and
Scott Street frontages shall be thirty inches (30") above the surface of the
parking lot; if the berm requires support, the fence to support such berm
.sha~l~l~ibe no higher than three feet (3'). 'Introduced by Larry Tencer,
