Mayor Mattei led the Pledge of Allegiance. ~ - RESO. 84-283 NCS ii LAKEVILLE SQUARE APARTMENT. PARTIAL OCCUPANCY Reso. 84-283 NCS approving..partial .occupancy of 132 apartments in buildings 15 to 26 and 63 to 70 inclusive prior to completion of the entire project. RESO. 84-284 NCS YOUTH DIVERSION PROGRAM GRANT Reso. 84-284 NCS authorizing submittal of grant .application for Youth Diversion Program sponsored by the Federal Office of Criminal Justice Planning for $15,432 under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974. Items covered by this grant are counselling: . supervisor, telephone service, printed . material;. printing, office equipment. and supplies, postage, equipment maintenance and counsellor training . Introduced by Councilman Tencer, seconded by Councilman - Battaglia. AYES: Battaglia, Tencer, Cavanagh, Balshaw, Mayor Mattei - ABSENT: Perry, Viee Mayor Bond LAKEVILLE HIGHWAY PLAN -LINE It was moved by Councilman Cavanagh, seconded by Councilman Tencer to continue action on the resolution to set the public hearing until January. ~.~ AYES: Battaglia, Tencer, Cavanagh, Balshaw, Mayor Mattei ABSENT: Perry, Vice Mayor Bond CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM Library-Museum Reroofing It was Council consensus to approve the roof repair at the Library-Museum located at Fourth and B _ Streets. Estimated cost of the repairs is $9,.000... ~ ;~~ November 12, 1984 131 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ., Shollenberger Park ' • It was Council consensus to authorize staff to negotiate with the County of Sonoma Parks and Recreation Department to change the land designation of 31 acres of City land with the County to substitute the area of Shollenberger Park. At present, a portion. of the •Petaluma River dredging spoils site is being considered. The land exchange is in connection with the proposed privately developed marina that is being planned for the Shollenberger Park area. Sewer Sli linin Re air and Re lacement treet an estern .venue t was Counci consensus to authorize staff to prepare plans and specifications to repair and replace sewer lines in D Street. and Western Avenue. Cost for this is estimated to be $225,000 to be funded from from Sewer Surplus Funds. Banff Park area It was Council consensus to authorize staff to pursue the sale of a five acre portion of the City-owned property surrounded by Banff Way in Park .Place subdivision. Councilman Tencer suggested this land be developed in a similar manner as the neighboring subdivision and that the funds received from the sale be used towards completion of Lucchesi Park or be used towards some other community park project. Police Facility It was Council consensus to authorize staff to pursue the feasibility of obtaining the old Sorensen funeral home located at Sycamore Lane and Petaluma Blvd. North for a police facility. Helen Putnam Memorial It was Council consensus to pursue development of a Helen Putnam Memorial Fountain to be located in Center Park. Swimming Pool It was Council consensus to authorize staff to prepare plans and specifications for renovation of the municipal swimming pool. The estimated cost is $125,000. 1 November 12, 1984 132 Parks The City Council agreed to set time aside to discuss park maintenance,.
