RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS
MEADOW PARK UNIT NOS. 1, 2 & 3 (ANNEXATION NO. 2)
LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
(Pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972)
The City Council of the City of Petaluma resolves:
1. The City Council intends to order the formation of
an assessment district and to levy and collect assessments
pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972.
2. The improvements to be made in this assessment
district are generally described as follows:
The maintenance of all the public landscaping
improvements as part of "Meadow Park Unit Nos. 1, 2 &
3" Subdivision, consisting of plant materials, trees,
ground cover,. irrigation systems, pathways, and fences
located in the public areas shown as "Abercrombie Way,
Megan Court, MacMahan Drive and Stillson Drive," as
shown on the appended Assessment Diagram for this
Landscape Assessment District.
3. This assessment district shall be known as Meadow
Park Unit Nos. 1, 2 & 3 (Annexation No. 2) Landscape Assessment
District, City of Petaluma, Sonoma County, California. The
proposed assessment district shall include all parcels of the
land within the geographical limits of the City of Petaluma.
4. In accordance with the City Council's resolution
initiating proceedings, Nystrom Engineering, Walnut Creek,
California:, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by
the -Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested ,persons
are referred to that report for a full and detailed description
of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessment district

and the proposed assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of
land within the assessment district..
5. On the 16th day of January, 1990, at the hour of
7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will conduct a public hearing
on the formation of this assessment district and the levy of the
proposed assessment. The hearing will be held at the meeting
place of the City Council located at City Hall, 11 English
Street, Petaluma, California.
6. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give
the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping and Lighting
Act of 1972.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
