Resolution No. 89-329 N.C.S.
of the City ofi Petaluma, California
RESOLUTION GRANTING ONE OUTSIDE WATER SERVICE FOR
EXISTING UNIT AT 3344 D STREET EXTENSION
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma adopted a policy regarding water
service outside the City limit; and,
WHEREAS, said policy permits provision of service to residences in
existence at the time of the adoption of the policy which are outside the
City sphere of influence; and,
WHEREAS, said policy prescribed that each said service shall be
authorized by the City Council but only upon submittal of evidence of
contamination or lack of adequate existing water sources; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer and the Community Development and
Planning Director have reviewed said evidence and recommend approval of
one outside water service to 3344 D Street extension.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that one service shall be
permitted at said address (AP No. 19-240-18) subject to the following
conditions
1. The service is for domestic residential use only.
2. Appropriate water meter and installation fees must be paid to the
City Finance Department as determined by the Water
Superintendent prior to installation of water meter.
3. Maximum service size shall be limited to three-quarter inch
service.

4, Any unauthorized additional service tap shall cause
discontinuance of service .
5, Design and installation methods of appropriate pump and air gap
system must be reviewed and approved by the Water
Superintendent prior to installation by the property owner.
