18 Bill Phillips, Petaluma, spoke regarding the wastewater treatment plant capacity for heavy
19 sludge.

21 Ron Klein, Petaluma Police Officers Association (PPOA), said that during the economic downturn
22 of the last few years, PPOA has been first at the table to negotiate with Mr. Brown. Those who
23 have been with the Petaluma Police Department the shortest amount of time are the most
24 impacted and fear for their jobs at least every six months.

26 Eric Patterson, Plant Director, Cow Girl Creamery, spoke regarding the high cost of doing
27 business in Petaluma, especially affordable wastewater treatment. They would like to stay in
28 Petaluma, but these costs may prevent that from happening.

30 Bob McGee, Straus Family Creamery, spoke regarding wastewater treatment issues facing the
31 business.

33 Joseph Tuck, CEO, Alvarado Street Bakery,spoke about affordable wastewater treatment for his
34 company.

36 Bob Curry and Pam Granger, Petaluma Coalition to Prevent Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug
37 Problems, asked that Council place on the list of priorities for consideration in 2013 the tobacco
38 retailer license portion of the tobacco control ordinance, the tobacco retailer conditional use
39 permit (CUP), and the alcohol CUP, which they said was the third part of a comprehensive
40 approach to preventing alcohol-related problems.

42 Erin Axelrod, Petaluma, is one of nine students participating in a regenerative design certification
43 course. They have prepared recommendations for Petaluma regarding a regenerative
44 stormwater system.

2 Tony McGee, Lagunitas Brewing Company, spoke regarding the wastewater treatment plant.
3 Contrary to the newspaper article, the company never expected City to pay for a system for the
4 brewery. They are looking for guidance from the City. Should they build their own treatment
5 facility?

7 Terence Garvey, Petaluma, spoke regarding marijuana "grow houses" and the problems they
8 cause in residential neighborhoods.

19 Tiffany Renee, Petaluma, spoke in support of a multi-use path to run alongside the SMART rail
20 project through Petaluma, which would bring bicycle tourists into town, and about the revenue-
21 generating potential of a bio-digester at the Ellis Creek Water Recycling Facility.
