1 ORDERING TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS
2 ANNEXATION NO. 89-1 (WESTRIDGE UNITS 4 & 5)
3 ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PETALUMA
4 Whereas, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of
5 Sonoma, State of California, adopted its Resolutions No. 2005a, 2005b, and 2005c
6 on July 20, 1989, making determinations and approving the proposed annexation to
7 the City of Petaluma of territory described in Exhibit A attached hereto and by this
s reference incorporated herein; and,
9 Whereas, the reason for this annexation are for orderly growth in compliance
10 with the City's adopted General Plan; and,
11 Whereas, a public hearing on this annexation was called for and held by this
12 Council on September 5, 1989, and this Council finds and determines that the value
13 of written protests filed and not withdrawn is less that 25 percent of the registered
14 voters residing within the territory proposed to be annexed and less than 25% of the
15 number of owners of land owning less than 25 percent of the assessed value of land
16 within the territory.
17 Now, therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Petaluma
18 hereby orders the territory described in Exhibit A annexed, and directs the City
19 Clerk to transmit a certified copy of this resolution with applicable fees as required
20 by Section 54902.5 of the Government Code to the Executive Officer of the Local
21 Agency Formation Commission of Sonoma County.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.

Beginning at a point on the line between Sections 9 and
10, Township 4 North, Range 7 West Mount Diablo Base and
Meridian, said point being South 00 07' 43" We'st, 2644.52.
feet from the section corner common to sections 3, 4, 9 and
10, said point also being the southeast corner of the Lands
of Lavio described in Book 1056, Official Records, at Page
113, Sonoma County Records;
Thence along the southerly line of.said Lavio parcel
South 891.14' 02" West_ 2682.29 feet to the southwest corner
of said Lavio Parcel;
Thence along the westerly line of said Lavio Parcel
North 0 41' 42" West 2641.01 feet to the northwest- corner
of said Lavio parcel;
Thence along the northerly line of said Lavio Parcel,
and the southerly lin6 of "'h" Street Annexation No. 1
recorded in Book 18j0, at Page 31, 'Sonoma County Records,
North 890 10' 00" East 2452.39 feet to the easterly line of
Lot 49, as shown on the Map of Westridge Unit One (amended),
recorded in Book 22'0 of Maps at Pages 24 and 25, Sonoma
County Records;
Thence leaving the northerly line of said Lavio parcel,
and along the easterly line of said Lot 49, and "I'" Street
Annexation No. 1, North 266 25' 4.0" West 1,24.00 feet;
Thence leaving the easterly line of said Lot 49, and
continuing along the southerly line of said "I" Street.
Annexatioh No. 1., South 890 51' 59" East 158.86 feet to the
westerly line of "I" Street;
Thence North 600' 50' 20" East, 50.00. feet to the
easterly line of "I" Street;
