RESOLUTION REQUESTING DEFERMENT OF A PORTION
' ($10, 000) OF THE DEPOSIT REQUIRED BY THIS CITY TO
BE MADE TO THE SONOMA, COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL
AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT PURSUANT TO
THE CONTRACT EXECUTED MAY 9, 1960;

WHEREAS', by letter.of April 2, 1962, the Sonoma County Flood

Control and Water Conservation District indicated it would execute a supplementary
• agreement to the agreement of May 9, 1960, to provide that.this City pay its required

deposit for its Capital Cost.-Fund, $10, 000 upon demand and the balance of the '$10,000
to be deferred to a later date when the need for the same can be accurately determined,
that is upon completion of;Part "C" as set forth in the contract hereinabove mentioned,
dated May 9, 1960; and
WHEREAS, this Council finds it is to. this City's best interest to defer
the said payment;

NOW, THEREFORE,; BE IT RESOLVED 'that the Sonorna County Flood
Control and Water Conservation Districtlbe advised' this City requests a deferred
payment; and .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is this City's intention to authorize
the Mayor to execute a supplementary agreement to provide for a deferment.
