HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions 88-270 N.C.S. 07/18/1988 Res®lution No.88-270 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE POLICY FOR THE PETALUMA COMMUNITY CENTER WHEREAS, City Council directed staff to write a policy for the number of times per year individuals and groups could use or rent the Petaluma Community Center. WHEREAS, staff developed a policy which was presented to the Recreation, Music and Parks Commission at their meeting on July 12 when some additions and amendments were made. WHEREAS, the Recreation, Music and Parks Commissiorti unanimously accepted the recommendation that City Council approve the policy with the additions and amendments as indicated. NOW, THEREFORE, BET IT RESOLVED, that 'the City Council approve the policy and direct staff to implement policy immediately following approval. ann#3:respol Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City. T. If 30 days prior to an event, a room is ava,il.abl,e, the Director 'may waive taie ;limits of the above mentioned facility use for any of the classifications described above.,:.. 9. This entire policy w~i;l.l be reviewed by the Commission at their meeting in January';; however, groups renting the facility on a regular, continuous basis may rent fr-om September 1, 1969 through February 28, 1'999. These groups will be notified after the January Commission meeting if they may reserve on a continuous basis for the rest of th,e year (March through August). ann#3:policy
