HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions 88-104 N.C.S. 04/04/1988Resolution No. $s-104 N.C.s. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF AN UNUSED PORTION OF THE MADISON STREET RIGHT OF 4VAY BETWEEN LAKEVILLE STREET AND THE PETALUMA RIVER FOR "TRANSITIONAL" HOMELESS FAMILY HOUSING. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to negotiate the use of an unused portion of the Madison Street right of way for use as a site for a project for "transitional" housing for homeless families with children in Petaluma. Use of said lands lying between Lakeville Street and the Petaluma River, is subject to preparation of appropriate lease or other use agreement, property development review through normal City processes (processing fees shall be waived), environmental clearance; arrangement for sufficient insurance coverage, ongoing site management and support services for tenants. Use of said land may be recovered by City after five years from date of execution of agreement at City's sole discretion. reso.cots.2 RES09 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
