MJA:cw 1-19-88 of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE JOB DESCRIPTION OF CLASSIFICATION ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER WHEREAS the City Manager as the Personnel 0 ffi.cer of the City has submitted to the Council a revised job description for the classification Assistant City Manager in order to bring it into conformity with the present work assignment, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the job description of Assistant City Manager is hereby revised to establish the duties in accordance with the description in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this action is taken pursuant to Personnel Code 2.04.020 and Personnel Rules and Regulations (Rule TV, Section 5) for classifications of the Personnel System, that the notice of this action has been properly posted and that the City Manager recommends this action. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Resolution No. 7054 N . C . S . , as amended, and Resolution No. 87-189, is hereby amended to include establishment of the revised classification of Assistant City Manager, effective February 1, 1988, with a salary range of $3,785 - $4,885 per month . Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
