MJA:cw 12-31-87 of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION AMENDING CLASSIFICATION PLAN TO ESTABLISH A NEW POSITION CLASSIFICATION OF PROGRAM COORDINATOR AND DESIGNATING IT TO UNIT 4, (PROFESSIONAL) BE IT RESOLVED that the Classification Plan and Compensation Plan as originally adopted pursuant to Resolution No. 6118 N . C . S . , as amended, and the classification titles and specifications as adopted by Resolution. No. 7054 N . C . S . , are hereby amended by establishing a classification of Program Coordinator, (as attached heretA and marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof) . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this action is taken pursuant to Personnel Code 2.04.020 and Personnel Rules and Regulations (Rule IV , Section 5) for classifications included in the Competitive Service of the Personnel System, that the notice of this action -has been properly posted and that the City Manager recommends this action. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Resolution No. 7054 N . C . S . , as amended, is hereby amended to include establishment of the classification of Program Coordinator and assigning this classification to Unit 4 (Professional) , effective January 4, 1988, at a salary range of $12.40 - $15.06 per hour. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City. EMPLOYMENT STAND;ARD:S Ed, ucation and Experience:; Any, combination equivalent to graduation from co]lege or university. with a degree in public. or business administration or a related field.. Two years of experience in~ w.'ork involving a variety of management activities 'and operations. Knowledge of: The :principles and practices; of: municipal government; statistical. and research methods and procedures;; organization functions and activities of City departments and ser-vices, including contract administration; governmental budgeting.:.
