OF ORDINANCE February 4, 2010 Introduced by Seconded by Teresa Barrett Mike Harris AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH RADAR ENFORCEABLE SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF PETALUMA BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Previously established radar enforceable speed zones not re-established 3 or modified in this ordinance shall remain approved as previously adopted for the streets to 4 which they apply. 5 6 Section 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase or word of this 7 Ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, unlawful or otherwise invalid by a court 8 of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of 9 this Ordinance. The City Council of the City of Petaluma hereby declares that it would have 10 passed and adopted this Ordinance and each and all provisions thereof, irrespective of the fact Ordinance No. 2362 N.C.S. Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post this Ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.
