RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH EIP ASSOCIATES FOR CONSULTING SERVICES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW AND DOCUMENTATION FOR RAINIER/U.S. 101 INTERCHANGE WHEREAS, the City desires to extend Rainer Avenue from McDowell Boulevard North to Petaluma Boulevard North, including full interchange with U. S. 101, pursuant to the Circulation Element of the 1987-2005 Petaluma General Plan; and, WHEREAS, state, federal, and local laws require extensive environmental review and documentation prior to approval of this project; and, WHEREAS, the environmental consulting firm of EIP Associates was chosen as the first choice to perform this review, based on their competitive bid and proposal; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Manager to enter into a contract with EIP Associates in an amount not to exceed $62,150.00 for their services in compliance with their July 17, 1987 proposal, as amended September 21, 1987. reso. eip contract RES08 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
