WHEREAS, Donald Noriel has appealed an adverse decision of the
Sonoma County Superior Court in the case of Norielvs the City of Petaluma and
the City Attorney has recommended the employment-of associate counsel to assist
. in all appellate Platters that may arise and this Council finds such employment
appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the employment of
Robert T. Anderson, the City Attorney of:Berkeley; California and a member of
the firm of Sturgis, Den-Dulk, Douglass & Anderson, to be associate counsel in
the appellate proceedings taken or to be taken in the matter of Noriel vs City of
'Petaluma, be; and the sari e is, hereby authorized. The services to be rendered
by Robert T. Anderson shall be compensated for-at the.: rate of $30.03 per hour
expended.
