WHEREAS, this City has requested Federal assistance under Section 107 of the River and Harbor Act of 1960. for the purposes of furthering its small boat harbor project; and WHEREAS the, City of Petaluma must agree to provide certain local co-operation and participation-prior to receiving any ',Federal assistance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Petaluma provide the local co-operation and participation ,as follows: L Provide Without;cost to lthe United States all necessary lands, ease- ments, and rights7of-Way required for construction and subsequent maintenance of the project including suitable spoil disposal areas with necessary retaining dikes, bulkheads, and embankments ;therefor; 2, Hold and save the United States free from damages that may result from construction and maintenance of the project; 3. Accomplish without cost to the United States alterations aiid re- locations as required in sewer,;. water supply, drainage, and other utility facilities; 4, Provide, maintain, and operate without:-cost to the United States an adequate public landing- or •Wharf`with.provisions for the sale of motor fuel, lubri- cants, and potable water available to all on equal terms; 5.
