HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions 87-094 N.C.S. 04/13/1987.. ~, resolution No. 87-9~4 N.C.S. ,, ~ of the City of Petaluma, California A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT FOR THF. CHERRY HILL APARTMENTS (AP. NO. 006-031-26) ~'VHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the issuance of a Mitigated Negative Declaration pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CF.QA) for the following project: 1. Amend the Planned Unit Development Zone designation for Sonoma County Assessor's Parcel No. 006-031-26 (known as the Cherry Hill Apartments) to allow development of a 32 unit clustered apartment project. NOW THEREFORE BF, IT RESOLVED, that the issuance of said Mitigated Negative Declaration pursuant to the California F,nvironmental Quality Act is hereby approved, based on the following findings: 1. A focused study has been completed addressing traffic impacts and this revealed no significant adverse impacts of this development. 2. The project complies with applicable policies of the General Plan anal requirements of the Zoning Ordinance. 3. Adequate storm drainage will be provided in accordance with the standards of the Sonoma County Water Agency. 4. The physical .and visual quality of the creek and mature trees on site will be preserved as a condition of the PUD development plan. 5. The architectural design of the development is reasonably attractive and the project is subject to SPARC review for further detailed analysis . Res. No . ..:............. _............ N.C.S. The proposal is an infill project and is consistent with both the existing and proposed General Plans. All other potential negative environmental impacts will be mitigated through conditions placed on the unit development plan.
