HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions 87-043 N.C.S. 02/17/1987 ~es®IUt10~'1 Nom. 87-43 N ~.5. of the City of Petaluma, California A RESOLUTION RECONFIRMING THE TENTATIVF, MAP FOR MEADOW PARK, A SUBDIVISION COMPRISING 41 ACRES AND INCLUDING 177 SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES, A SIX ACRE OFFICE/COMMERCIAL SITE AND A T13REE ACRE PUBLIC PARK ALL LOCATED BETWF,EN NORTH MCDOWELL BLVD. AND MARIA DRIVE NORTH OF ROYAL OAKS MOBILEHOMF. PARK, SOUTH OF MCDOWF,LL MEADOWS SUBDIVISION, AP NO. 137-060-33. WHEREAS, McBail Company, as owner and subdivider, has filed with this Council a Tentative Map to subdivide lands within this City to be known as Meadow Park and has paid all required filing fees; and, WHEREAS, the City Engineer, the Director of Planning and the Planning Commission have examined and reviewed the same as required by law a.nd all reports or conditions and comments have been forwarded to and considered by this Council at its meeting held on November 17, 1986; and, WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 1, 1986, the Council found all the findings required by law to approve the tentative map, with required conditions, and did so approve the tentative map; and, WHEREAS, the applicants, McBail Company, presented a broad revision to the site plan of Meadow Park to the Planning Department on January 19, 1987; and, [NHEREAS, the Director of Community Development and Planning found that the revisions put forward by McBail Company amounted to a formal revision to the previously approved tentative map; and, WHEREAS, McBail Company appealed this decision of the Planning Director to the City Council in a letter to the City Clerk of February 12, 1987; and, WHEREAS, the Council has considered, at their meeting of February 17, 1987, the appeal brought by the McBail Company in this matter; Res. No..Y.~....:!....~... V.C.S. NOW THEREFORE BF. IT RESOLVED, that this Council hereby finds as follows That the proposed redesign of the site plan for Meadow Park cannot be found to be in response to any of the conditions put on the tentative map, and that instead, the conditions which deal with the site plan refine the proposed street layout rather than require complete revamping as has been proposed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, based on the finding set forth above, that the above referred to previously approved map be and the same is hereby reaffirmed, subject to the conditions set forth by Resolution No. 86-314 N.C.S. on December 1, 1986, and that that is the map which should guide the development of this project. reso .meadow .park reso?
