MJA:cw 9-9-86 of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION APPROVING "GOALS AND TIMETABLES" FOR THE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN FISCAL YEAR 19$6-87 WHEREAS, this City Council has approved the Affirmative Action Plan by Resolution No. 7001 N.C.S.; and, WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish annual goals and timetables therefor, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council hereby adopts the goals and timetables for the fiscal year 1986-87 contained in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City. Analysis: Four-teen officers were hired - eleven white males, one asian male and two white females.. Goals Attempt to place one female in the :position of Maintenance Worker. - Result: Noa accomp-lisped. Analysis: The ;thr..ee..people hired to fill vacancies were all white male,: Goal: Attempt to place one female in the position of Park Maintenance Worker. Result: Not accomplished. Analysis: No ,hires were made in this category. Goals and Timetables of FY 1986-87 The FY 85-8b goals should be carried over to f5-cal.year 19:86-87.
