C: S7 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FIRE CHIEF TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA WITH OTHER PUBLIC OR PRIVATE AGENCIES OR INDIVIDUALS FOR FIRE SERVICES AND ESTABLISHING RATES THEREFOR I INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN 1 At A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Petaluma.'on.the' 3rd day of January 19 66 XiXXXMiX' flIA WHEREAS, 'the City is requested from time to time to provide extra fire prevention services .on th'e occasion of demolition of buildings by burning, removal of debris by burning, or others by burning and with compensation to the City to cover the cost of such extra services, and • WHEREAS, kit is desirable that the. Fire Chief have the authority to make arrangements for such Services and to contract for the same on behalf of the City of Petaluma:; I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Petaluma that the Fire Chief, or his duly appointed deputies or assistants, are hereby authorized and directed'to execute agreements ;in the name of the City of Petaluma to provide extra fire prevention services on the occasion of demolition of buildings by burning, removal of debris by burning, or others by burning, and with compensation to the City of Petaluma at an hourly rate per man and an hourly rate for equipment plus indirect payroll and other costs incurred by the City, which hourly rate, indirect payroll, and other, costs shall be established from time to time by the City Manager; BE IT,FURTHER RESOLVED that the agreement to be executed ;y the Fire Chief be in the form as 'attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", which is incorporated in this resolution as though fully set forth;. under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the'Charter oPsaid City. 1 COUNCILMEN, ' VOTE Seconded by./.174''..--"/ /. ,C.,"'/';=<"(------- Ayes Noes Absent I hereby certify that the':foregoing resolution was duly and Councilman David W.
