RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON AND CLOSE TO
PUBLIC USE AN EASEMENT FOR ABUTTERS ' RIGHTS, AS
THE .SAME MAY 'APPEAR- AND MAY EXIST IN FACT IN
FRONT OF THE OF MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
IN THE BODY OF THIS RESOLUTION

WHEREAS ; this. Council has received 'Petaluma Planning Commission' s
Resolution No. 2-66 recommending the abandonment of certain abutters ' rights ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE,. IT. RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Petaluma does hereby declare, its intention to Vacate the.,easement, for

abutters ' rights as they-may' appear that are located adjacent to the.
following described property: '
All that certain real property situate, lying and being in
the County of Sonoma, State of California, and more particularly
described as follows : #I
COMMENCING at the most Easterly corner of Parcel Two conveyed
to Merner Brothers, et ai,fby Deedrecorded October 22, 1947 , in
Book 759 at page 6 , Official Records of Sonoma County, said corner
being on the property linejcommon to the lands , now or formerly
of Merner Brothers , et a1,1 and of Leo Pondia , etux; thence along
said common property line South 35° 53 ' 18" West, 312 .94 feet to
the Northerly line ;of the right of way of the Northwestern Pacific

the Grantor hereby releases and relinquishes to the Grantee
any and all Abutter' s Rights 'of access , appurtenant to Grantor' s
remaining, property, in and to said freeway.
BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED 'that the Council, does 'hereby fix Monday ,
the 2'1st day of February, 19;16 ; at the hour of !.;3'0uo ' clock P.M. , in the
Council Chambers:, City Hall, ;Petaluma, Califbthia, 'as the time and place for
hearing• all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of
said easement for abutters''' rights hereinbefore in this Resolution referred
to and described;
