EgATAVF ,UfWTHAT/ , I WHEREAS , by letter of April 6 , 1966 , De Leuw, Lather & Company did i make a proposal to the D'itector of Public Works to perform certain engineering studies in connection with the Washington Street Bridge, and, 1 I WHEREAS this Council finds that the 'said studies are necessary and that the Department of Pubt`ic ,IWorks does not,•at this time, have the Man- power to perform the required: studies; and, WHEREAS the Director of.
