HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2707 N.C.S. 04/17/1961 0 —`1 Resolution No 2707 Nt C.$ RESOLUTION SUBMITTING TO THE ELECTORS AT THE REGULAR ELECTION ON JUNE 13, 1961, A PRO- POSED AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE'IX OF THE CITY CHARTER BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 63, 2, INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN_....a/- At A Regular Meetin of Atr Adjauxacd- 8 the City Council of the City of Petaluma,on the -- ' `h d1 of April 1961 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council submit to the electors of the City of Petaluma at the regular election to be held in said city on June 13, 1961, the following measure, to-wit: / MEASURE (D): Subject to and contingent upon the passage of Measure (F) be authorized to/placed upon the ballot for the June 13,. 1961 regular election by the City on April 17, 1961, by the requisite. number of votes; shall Article DC of the City Charter be amended by adding thereto Section 63. 2 to read as follows: Section 63. 2: When, and in the event that bond monies are provided for the construction of a municipal swimming pool, the Council may; notwithstanding the pro- visions of Section 63 of this Charter, levy .a special tax not to exceed ten cents for each one hundred dollars assessed valuation for the purposes of providing a fund for the repair, maintenance and operation of a"municipal swimming pool, under the poyuer an authority �°'ffeerrr ed upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
