SS/IX'/nnlgYSp/1fA/r/ WHEREAS, the City Council is interested in the providing of
needed classrooms for our elementary school boys and girls; and
WHEREAS, the only means available for providing school
facilities is by the elementary school district being bonded to capacity and accepting
the state loan; and
WHEREAS, the passage of the bond issue and special apportion-
ment election (state loan) will not increase the tax rate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Petaluma that. the Petaluma Elementary School District bond election and
special apportionment election (state loan) to be held on May 16, 1961, be endorsed and
that a "yes” vote be urged.
