RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE SUCH ADMINISTRATIVE STEPS AS ARE NECESSARY TO MOVE THE COMMERCIAL OFFICE OF THE PETALUMA WATER DEPARTMENT TO THE CITY HALL, AND FURTHER DIRECTING HIM TO ADVISE THE LESSORS OF THE REMISES AT 132 PETALUMA BOULEVARD NORTH OF THE CIINTENTN-TO TERMINATE THE EXISTING LEASE.° / /. --- INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN( � C% i- �G �F1 At A Regular Mtin of An Adjourned Meeting the City Council of the City of Petaluma On the 30th. day/of June.... 19 61 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Petaluma has received recommenda- tions to the effect that it is in the best interests of the City and to the efficiency of the administrative operation of the Petaluma Water Department and this Council finds that such recommendations should be followed: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby directed to take such administrative steps as are required to move the commercial office of the Petaluma Water Department'to the Petaluma City Hall; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby directed to take such steps and complete the same in an orderly fashion so as to make the move effective on or before the termination date of the existing lease on the premises at 132 Petaluma Boulevard North; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby directed to take such steps as are necessary to provide for a statigl for the payment of current monthly water bills to be located in the downtown area of this City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby directed to advise the Lessors of the premises at 132 Petaluma Boulevard North that this City will not renew the lease and will vacate the premises on or before the ter- mination date of the existing lease, said date being October 31, 1961. • under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City. �� COUNCILMEN VOTE Seconded by.
