NAMING THE AIRPORT "PETALUMA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT"
WHEREA5, pursuant to Resolution No. 6038 N.C.S. which states that a
Committee shall recommend to the City Council names for public facilities;
an d
WHEREAS, a Committee of three members has made contact with groups
in the community and met to review proposed names for the airport;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Committee recommends
to the City Council that the airport be named !'Petaluma Municipal Airport";
an d
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approves the
Gommittee's recommendation and the airport is so named.
CCRESOUnder the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
