JUN 171985 2 of the City of Petaluma, California ~ ~ ~ ORDERING ANNEXAT.ION OF PROPERTY DESIGNATED AS: ANNEXATION NO. 85-3 (CARLSON) WHEREAS, a petition for the proposed annexation of territory to the City of Petaluma was filed with the Local Agency Formation Cocnmission (LAFCO) by Ralph Emmet ~Carlson on February 27, 1985 pursuant to Part Two of Title Four, Division Two, commencing- with Section 35000 et seq. of the Government Code; and, WHEREAS, ori April 4, 1985, Sonoma County LAFCO considered and approved the application `and negative declaration of environmental impact and has designated the City of Petaluma as - the conducting authority and the City Council has been directed to conduct annexation proceedings w'ithout notice and hearing and without an election pursuant to Section 35221 of the Government Code (Exhibit A- LAFCO Reso. 896) : ., , ~~`~'~, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: The City Council of. the City of .Petaluma hereby orders annexation of territory designated by LAFCO as : Annexation No. 85-3 ( Carlson) and as set forth in the attached Exhibit B(metes and bounds) .
