S. of the City of Petalurna, California ~~g 19 1985 2 2 A RESOLUT.ION ADOPTING THE PGD DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS .'FOR PETALUMA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT PROJECT :LO'CATED IN THE VICINITY OF EAST WASHINGTON STREET AND • P-,ARKLAND WAY . WHEREAS, by Ord'inance No. 1608 ~ N...C.;S~.:, the Petaluma Muriicipal. Airport project area was rezoned to Planned Communit;p District; and WHEREAS, by action taken on January 8, 1985, the Planning commission considered arid forwarded a recommendation .to the City Council on the revised development standards for the airport project in said Planned Community District~; ~ and , WHEREAS, the City ,Council finds that the requirements of Galifornia Environmental Quality' act Guidelines Section 15083 have been satisfied and hereby incorporates by r.eference the previously certified final Environmental Impact Re,pqrt.. NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED that the development standards are hereby approved pursuant to Section 19A5'0:4 of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., as amended; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby adopts the following fin,dings: 1. That the developcnent proposed is in substantial harmony with the General Plan of the Gity of Petaluma, and is or can be coordinated with existing and planned development of tYie surrounding areas. 2. That the streets and . thoroughfares proposed are suitabl'e and adequate to serve the proposed uses and the anticipated traffic which will be generated thereby. 3. The facts submitted, with the applieation and presented at the hearing establish that: Reso. 85-67,. NCS.. 1 of 2 plus exhibit A In the case of proposeci industrial _uses that such development will be app"ropriate in area, location and overall planning to the purpose intended.; that the design and development standards are such as to create an environmental of sustained desirability and stability; and that such development will meet in per:formance standard established by Article 22. In the case of proposed commercial, institutional, and other non-residential uses,, that such development will be appropriate in area, location, an:d overall planning to the .purpose intended; and that such development will be in harmony with the character of the surrounding areas. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approved the development regulations as attached in Exhibit A. Ta compute the height. 1 imit for a specific Tocation, the Elevation of the locatfon must be calculated relatjve to the exhibit's reference poi nt. The centerl ine of the runway at the northwest end i s the rsference point for Exhibit A. Once the difference in elevation betrreen a speci f ic si te and the reference poi nt i s cal cul ated, the actual hei ght 1 imit. for the site can be detertr,tned..
