S. of the City of Petaluma, California APPROVINC PLANS AND SPECIFICAT'IONS FOR 1985 SANITARY SEWER MAIN PiPE SLIPLINING PROJECT NO. 8641 BE IT RESDLVED that the plans and specifications to the 1985 Sanitary Sewer Main Pipe Sliplining - Project No. 8641, are hereby approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the contract f.or the 19$5 Sanitary Sewer Main Pipe 5liplining project shall be awarded after calling for bids in the manner, form, and. for the period required by the City Charter, and the City Clerk is hereby autharized and directed to cause a Notice to Bidders to be published as provided for by law and the City Charter. The time for receiving bids shall be 2:00 p.m., on April 9, 1985, at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 11 English Street, Petaluma, California, 94952. ASSOCTATION This Ag:reement between the Petaluma Parks and Recreation Department, hereafter k~rio.wn as City.; and the Petaluma Softball Association, hereafter referred to as the As_soeiation, eritered. 'into this Agreement on April 1,' 1985, for the purposes of conducting the 1985 Adult Softball leagues. These services involye the complete oper"ation of' the season :which is to begin the first week of May, 1985 and conclude at tYie end of August, 1985. Specifically, the. following i_s an outline of.. the responsib'il'ities of fhe City and the A_ssociation,. A"ssociation is acting as an independent contraetor wifh °respect to the activities cond.uc;ted pursuant to the agreement . The City will:; , - a. Provide all bases:, balls, gypsum, line. markers, restrooms, - storage ~and lights. .: b. Print and distribute league operations, regulations, schedules ~and house rul'e"s. ~ c. Gollect, all fees and .distribute same on a bas'is to the Association,. d. Provide scheduling coord'ination with. the Association. The Association wi'll: a. Pro"vide~ and schedule .two o_ffi'cials per game. b. Provide and schedule: scorekeepers who maintain . accurate game records, submit scores to the Arg,us-Courier, main,tain. team standings and; league r.osters:. c. Pr,.ovide , personnel to properly prepare the field per City specifica"tions . d-. H`andle..:all pr:otests and league 'oper,ations. e,; Goordinate field inain"tenance with the Recreation Department. ~-. ~• The City of Petaluma on .or about ApriI 1, 1985 will submit to the Association 90-0 of the $25:0.•00 per team fees ,based or~ the cost of ' officiatirng ,, scorekeepers and grounds :per,sonnel. At the conclusion of the season, the ,City then will pay. to. the Association, the remaining 10$ of the $`250.00 team fees. All protest .fees„ for.feit fees or unsports,manlike conduct fees will be colleeted by the Association and wi1T remain with the Association for league - operations.
