Home My WebLink AboutResolution 2002-157 N.C.S. 09/17/2002resolution No. 2002-157 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION APPROVING STREET CLOSURE IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA FOR BUTTER AND EGGS DAYS PARADE SATURDAY, APRIL 27, 2002 WHEREAS, the Petaluma High School Music Boosters have requested approval for street closures for their Band Review Competition scheduled for Saturday, October O5, 2002, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:.00 p.m.; and, WHEREAS, the Petaluma High School Music Boosters are requesting street closures on the following streets: Bassett Street between Fair and Howard Streets; Howard Street between Bassett Street and the `A' Street parking area; 6`" Street between the `A' Street parking area and `D' Street; `D' Street between 6t" and 10`" Streets; and Fair Street between `B' Street and Bassett Street. Limited street closures include `F' Street at 8`" Street and 6`" Streets; `D' Street at El Rose Drive; `B' Street at Webster Street; English Street at Fair Street; Baker and Howard Streets; Western and Liberty Streets; Keller Street and `A' Street parking area; 5`" Street at `B' Street and `C' and `D' Streets. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Petaluma Police Department is authorized to close the requested streets between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October O5, 2002, for the purpose of conducting the Petaluma High School Music Boosters Band Review Competition. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
