HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2002-101 N.C.S. 06/27/2002Resolution No. 2002-101 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA PROVIDING FOR THE SETTING OF THE CITY'S MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT RATE TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE ESTABLISHED MILEAGE RATE WHEREAS, the Internal Revenue Service sets a standard mileage rate for business miles and publishes same; and, WHEREAS, the City desires to establish a policy that the employee reimbursable mileage rate is the same as the current Internal Revenue Service standard business mileage rate, as may be amended from time to time. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Petaluma, that the employee reimbursable mileage rate will be equal to the current Internal Revenue Service standard business mileage rate as may be amended from time to time. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager may adjust the employee reimbursable mileage rate if the Internal Revenue Service standard mileage rate is changed. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
