HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2002-102A N.C.S. 07/08/2002Resolution No. 2002-102~,C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION APPROVING RETENTION OF RALPH ANDERSEN & ASSOCIATES FOR RECRUITMENT OF INTERIM CITY MANAGER AND NEW PERMANENT CITY MANAGER WHEREAS, on July 1, 2002, Frederick C. Stouder, City Manager of Petaluma, gave notice of resignation in order to accept a new position as City Manager of Goleta, California; and WHEREAS, the City Council; at its July 8, 2002 meeting, agreed to immediately begin the search for an Interim City Manager and to begin the recruitment process for a new permanent City Manager; NOW, THEREFORE, PE IT RESOLVED that the Petaluma City Council authorizes Heather Renschler, with the recruitment firm of Ralph Andersen & Associates, to immediately begin the selection process for an Interim City Manager with placement by the end of August 2002, if possible, and the recruitment of a new permanent City Manager, with selection by December 2002. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
