APPROV-ING REVISED DEVELOPMENT PLAN
VI°LLAGE MEADOWS` ;SUB~IDIVISION,
(ELY BOULEVARD NORTH AND LYNCH CREEK)
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1433 N.C.S., Assessor's Parcel No.'s
136-ill-13, I6, 17, 20 and 21, formerly Asses or''s Parcel rlo.'s 136-110-0?
and 21 were rezoned to PUD (Planned Unit District.) ; and,
WHEREAS, by action taken on September 11, 1984, the Planning Commission
recommended conditional adoption of a revised unit development plan in said
Planned Unit District Zone;
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED tfiat the revised final unit
development plan on file in the Office of Community Development and
Planning is hereby approved pursuant to Section 19A-'504 of Zoning
Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., as amended; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the City Council hereby adopts the Findings of
the Planning Commission as its Findings as set out hereinafter:
Findings
1. The PUD District is proposed on property which has a suitable
relationship to one (1) or more thoroughfares; and that said
thoroughfares are adequate to carry any additional traffic generated
by the development.
2. The plan for the proposed development presents a unified and
organized arrangement of buildings and service facilities which are
appropriate in relation to adjacent: _~or nearby properties and that
adequate landscaping and/or screening is included to insure
compatibility. ~ .
