Resolution le1o. 8 4- 3 2 3 N, C, S, of the City of Petaluma, California A RESOLUTION APPROVING TH_ E ISSUANCE OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION PUR°SUANT Tb CALIF:O.'RNIA ENVIR'ONMEPITAL QUALITY ACT FOR THE PREZONING AND ANNEXATION OF THE CARLSON, POMEROY AND HOLLY HEIGHT'S ANNEXATION AREAS WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the issuance of a Negative Declaration pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the following project(s) Pomeroy Prezoning and Annexation, Vicinity of Hopper Street, Highway 101 and the Petaluma River. -Holly Heights Prezoning and Annexation, Northside of Bodega Ave. between Paula Lane and Bantam Way. Carlson Prezoning and Annexation, 1225 Mountain View Ave. WHEREAS, the City has adopted a Master Environmental Impact -Report on the City's General Plan/Environmental Design Plan which depicts the land use classification proposed for the project; and., WHEREAS, specific initial studies were conducted and no significant impacts were identified; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the issuance of said Negative Declaration pursuant to the California Environmental- Quality Act is hereby approved, based upon the following findings: 1. The project is consistent with applicable General Plan/EDP guidelines and .policies and zoning regulations. 2. No 5ignfcant environmental effects have identified with the project. 3. The project is compatible with surrounding land uses. Reso.No 84-323 N.C.S. ;;~,,.. 4.
