California MAKING APPLICATION TO LAFCO 'TO INITIATE PROCEEDINGS FO:R ANNEXATION PURSUANT TO T;HE MORGA-1977: POMEROY ANNEXATION, HOPPER STREET, HIGHWAY 101 AND PETALUMA RIVER.; HOLLY HEIGHTS ANNEXATION, VICINITY OF BOD.EGA AVE. BETVdEEN PAULA LANE AND BANTAM WAY: AND; CARLSON ANNEXATION, 1225 MOUNTAIN VIEW AVENUE. BE IT RESOLVED,, pursuant to the Municipal Organization Act - 1977 (Government Code 3.:5000 et seq) this City Council. hereby applies to the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) of Sonoma County for a proposed change of organization as follows: 1. The Annexation shall consist of "Inclusion in the corporate boundaries of the Gity of Petaluma territory described as Assessor's Parcels 136-0.10-21 (Pomeroy) , 19-070-33, 34 and 40 (Holly Heights;) and 19-232'-O1 (Carlson) ." . 2. Said territory is uninhabited. . 3. Said territories are comprised of 85.55 acres (Pomeroy), 4.9 acres {Holly Heights) and .5 acres ,(Carlson).. 4. Descriptions of said territories- are attached, .hereto as exhibits A B and C, respectively. ~~ _ • ' 5. The .reasons for this proposal are "as stated 'in the Petaluma Planning Department Staff Reports dated November 13, 1984, November 27, 1984 arid" December 11, 198.4". 6.
