MAKING APPLICATION TO LAFCO 'TO INITIATE PROCEEDINGS
FO:R ANNEXATION PURSUANT TO T;HE MORGA-1977:
POMEROY ANNEXATION, HOPPER STREET, HIGHWAY 101 AND PETALUMA RIVER.;
HOLLY HEIGHTS ANNEXATION, VICINITY OF BOD.EGA AVE. BETVdEEN PAULA LANE
AND BANTAM WAY: AND; CARLSON ANNEXATION, 1225 MOUNTAIN VIEW AVENUE.
BE IT RESOLVED,, pursuant to the Municipal Organization Act - 1977
(Government Code 3.:5000 et seq) this City Council. hereby applies to the
Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) of Sonoma County for a
proposed change of organization as follows:
1. The Annexation shall consist of
"Inclusion in the corporate boundaries of the Gity of Petaluma territory
described as Assessor's Parcels 136-0.10-21 (Pomeroy) , 19-070-33, 34
and 40 (Holly Heights;) and 19-232'-O1 (Carlson) ." .
2. Said territory is uninhabited. .
3. Said territories are comprised of 85.55 acres (Pomeroy), 4.9 acres
{Holly Heights) and .5 acres ,(Carlson)..
4. Descriptions of said territories- are attached, .hereto as exhibits A B and
C, respectively. ~~ _ • '
5. The .reasons for this proposal are
"as stated 'in the Petaluma Planning Department Staff Reports dated
November 13, 1984, November 27, 1984 arid" December 11, 198.4".
6. All. the owners of land within said territory have been notified of such
annexation and support same.

7. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified
copy of this resolution with the Executive. Officer of the LAFCO of the
County of Sonoma. '
