FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE, PUBLIC CONVENIENCE
AND NECESSITY REQUIRE'T:HE CONSTRUCTION 0'F THE IMPROVEMENTS
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT N0. 10 NS
publication, posting and mailing, has been held as to the public
The City Council of the City of Petaluma resolves:
A public hearing for which notice has been given by
convenience and necessity of the improvements in Special
Assessment District No. 10 NS.
This Council has heard and considered all the
evidence, both oral and written, relative to the public
convenience and necessity of the construction of improvements,
and finds that the public convenience and necessity require the
following improvements proposed to be constructed in Special
Assessment District No. 10 NS:
The construction of streets, including clearing,
grading, subbase, base, pavement, curbs and gutters,
and driveways; sidewalks, storm drainage facilities;
sanitary sewers and appurtenances; a system of
domestic water supply including fire hydrants; street
lights and underground electrical distribution
facilities; and all other improvements and
appurtenances necessary for a complete scheme of
public improvements in the area bounded on the
Southwest 'by the Petaluma River, on the Northwest by
Petaluma Boulevard Nor th, on the. Nor theast by the
Petaluma and Santa Rosa railroad right-of-way, and on
the Southeast by Corona Road.

and further determines that the Special Assessment
Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931. shall
not apply to these assessment proceedings and that this project
shall proceed in accordance with the terms and provisions of the
Municipal Improvement Act of 1913.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the. Charter of said City.
I hereby certify the foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted by the
