CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION: Pursuant to paragraph (1) of subdivision (d) of California Government Code Section 54956.9: Minick v. City of Petaluma, et al., Sonoma County Superior Court Case no. SCV-251915. PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS Prior to adjournment into Closed Session, the public may speak up to three minutes on items to be addressed in Closed Session. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the City Council's subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes. Please fill out a speaker card (available at the rear of the Council Chambers) and submit it to the City Clerk. Speaker cards for General Public Comment will not be accepted after the meeting begins. The Mayor will call on individuals whose names appear on the speaker cards. If more than three persons wish to address Council on the some topic, they are encouraged to select a spokesperson. Please be ready to step forward to the microphone as soon as the previous speaker has concluded his/her comments. (Cal. Gov't. Code §54954.3(a), Petaluma City Council Rules, Policies and Procedures, III(A)). REPORT OUT OF CLOSED SESSION (ACTIONS TAKEN) UNFINISHED BUSINESS A. Vote on Reconsideration Motion of August 4, 2014 Pursuant to City Council Rule VI(F) Regarding Whether the City Council Will Reconsider Resolution No. 2014-127 N.C.S. Adopted July 21, 2014 Approving a 144 -lot Phased Tentative Subdivision Map for the Riverfront Mixed Use Project Located at 500 Hopper Street within the Boundaries of the Central Petaluma Specific Plan. Note: The City Council will only consider and the vote on the reconsideration motion pursuant to this item. Under Council Rule VI(F), reconsideration of the subdivision map approval itself will not occur at this meeting. If a majority of the City Council members present at tonight's meeting vote in favor of reconsideration, the subdivision map approval will be reconsidered at a subsequent City Council meeting. The City Clerk hereby certifies that this agenda has been posted in accordance with the requirements of the Government Code. In accordance with Government Code §54957.5, any materials of public record relating to an agenda item for a regular meeting of the City Council that are provided to a majority of the members less than 72 hours before the meeting will be made available at the City Clerk's Office, 11 English Street, during normal business hours. Materials of public record that are distributed during the meeting shall be made available for public inspection of the meeting if prepared by the City or a member of its legislative/advisory body, or the next business day after the meeting if prepared by some other person.
