A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUAPICE. OF A NEGATIVE
DECLARATTON PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA
ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) FOR AMENDMENTS TO
THE GENERAL PLAN, .HQUSING ELEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommerided the issuance of a
Negative Declaration pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) for the following project:
AR4ENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN, HOUSING ELEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the issuance of said
Negative Declaration pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) is hereby approved, based on the folTowing' findings:
1. The City has considered any comrnents and mitigation measures
received pertaining to the issuance of a Negative Declaration, and finds
responses thereto be adequate.
2. No significant adverse environmental effect will result from the
project as proposed.
3. The project is consistent with the General Plan/EDP for which the
City Master Environmental Report was certified.
4. Any potentially significant environmental effects which may occur
through implementation of a specific goal, policy or program recommended
by the Housing Elernent will be identified and mitigation measures instituted
as part of the environmental review process for that particular goal, policy
or program prior to its implementation.
