APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A MITIGATED NEQAT;IVE DECLARATION PURSU-
ANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT AND THE PRIOR .
ADOPTION OF A CITY-W.IDE MASTER -ENVIRONMENTAL. IMPACT REPORT FOR
THE'BAYWQOD SHOPPING CENTE=R TO BE LOCATED AT THE NORTH9�EST CORNER
OF.BAYWOOD DRIVE AND PARRY LANE (A.P. N:O: 5-20141)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the issuance of a Mitigated
Negative Declaration pursuant, to the 'California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
for the following project (s),'.
REZONING of a Neighborhood Commercial Shopping Center
at the Northwest Corner. of Baywood -Drive an -d Perry Lane
WHEREAS the-Gity has adopted a Master Environmental Impact Report on the,
City's General Plan/Environmental Design Plan ,which depicts the land use cl as`s'i'fi ca
tion proposed for the project:; and,
WHEREAS,, addi'ti'onal focused environmentalstudies have been prepared for the area
and .which have been' reviewed by th-e ,Community Development and Planning Department .and
the Planning Commission; and,
WHEREAS, such miti.gating mea's'ures have been .re',commended by -the Planning Commission
and Staff where necessary tb eliminate,, or mi°;nimize any significant adverse environ-
mental, effects;

NOW. -THEREFORE:, BE ITRESOLVER.that the Js.suance of said

Negative Declaration pursuant to, the .Cal fforni'a Environmental Quality
Act is approved, based upon' the folJowih,g fthdings:

receiVed, pertaining to, issuance of said Negative Declaration, and finds- the
