HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2002-013 N.C.S. 01/28/2002 Resolution No. 2002-013N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California EXPANDING THE HOURS DOGS MAY BE EXERCISED OFF LEASH AT PRINCE PARK DURING WINTER MONTHS WHEREAS, the City Council has designated parks where dogs maybe exercised off leash, and WHEREAS, athletic use of Prince Park during winter months is suspended and WHEREAS, the Animal Control Advisory Committee and the Recreation, Music and Parks Commission are proposing an expansion of hours that dogs maybe exercised off leash at Prince Park during winter months. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes that the hours to exercise dogs off leash at Prince Park during winter months be changed to 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday through March 31, 2002. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
