Dear Jim:
S~Ve want to thank you for the oppo:rtunity of submitting the
enclosed proposal for the preparation of working drawings
and specifications for the Lucchesi Park ~aalkways arid lighting,
PROPOSAL
1. Construction Drawings and Specifications
a. Clearing, regrading if nec.essary, walkway construction,
and lighting.
b. Construction cost estimate.
2. Bid Process
Assistance to the Ci:ty during t;he bi.d process to include
answering contractors~ questions and providing th~ City
with a list of prospective biclders.
3~ City Property
All plans, drawings, anci other documents prepared pur-
suant to this agreement shall be and remain the property
of the' City o'f Pet'a'1uma.
4• Reproduction
a. Reproduction of any construction drawings and speci-
fication bid sets shall be hi:lled at direct cost.
b. Two (.2) sets (one bluelin~ and one sepia) of con-
struction clra~vings and specifications shall be pro-
vided for review at no cost.

5. Assi~nment
The Landsc~pe Architect shall not assign, sublet or
transfer its rights, duties, benefi.ts, obligations, or
other interest in this agreement without the written
consent of the City of Petaluma.
6. Compensation; Method of Payment
Landscape Architect~s fe~s for services shall be as follows:
~. Item 1"Preparation of working drawings and speci-
ficationst~ and Item 2~~Bid Process~~ shall b~ billed
at the following hourly rates:
Principal's time
Associate~s time
Draftsmants time
Clerical time
Professional consultant
$40/per hour
$28/per hour
$22~per hour
$15/per hour
Amount billed to Landscape
Architect plus 15/ for
coordination
Fee for working dra~vings and spe¢ifications and
coordination durin~ bidding shall not exceec~. $6,$00.
b. Fee is based upon a construction budget of $160,000,
c. Monthly statements will be rendered in proportion to
work complet~d. In case of any dispute arisin; con-
cerning the nercent of work completed, the City sh~ll
be the sole juclge thereof. Upon satisfaction on the
part of City as to the accuracy of said billing,
City shall promptly remit p~yment therefor.
d. ConStruction observation, inspections, public meetings
ancl other additional services beyond those indicated
in this letter of agreement~ requested by the client,
sha11 ~be bi11ec1 separately at the hourl~r rates listed
abovee
