Construct 2" plant mix surfacing over 6" untreated rock base with fog seal, 20 feet wide from edge of gutter on 'Schuman Lane and Laurel Street adjacent to the subject subdivision. The existing street surface shall be regraded to conform to the new pavement surface. c, Water mains shall be constructed to serve the subject subdivision in accordance with the requirements of the Petaluma Water Department. d„ Fire hydrants shall be installed in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Department, City of Petaluma, ee, Survey monuments shall be installed as required by the • Department of-Public'Works, City of Petaluma, so as to permit retracing of the, subdivision survey. f. All improvements shall be constructed to the standards of the Department of Public Works, City of Petaluma. g. The subdivider shall reimburse the City of Petaluma for engineering inspection at the rate of $4. 25 per hour, plus the actual cost of tests performed by testing laboratories. 2. The, subdivider and owner shall:furnish the. City with a Faithful Performance Bond in the sum of Eighteen Thousand and No/Dollars ($18, 000. 00), to be issued by a surety corporation approved by the City Manager, guaranteeing the performance by the subdivider and owner of all the work specified in this Resolution. 3. That said Subdivider and owner shall also file with the City a Maintenance Bond in the sum of Six Thousand and No/Dollars ($6, 000. 00), to be issued by a surety corporation approved by the City Manager, after the completion of said work, and as a condition for the release of:said Performance Bond, which said Maintenance 'Bond shall continue in force and effect for a period of one (1) year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that upon the execution of said agreement in the form approved by the City Attorney, the furnishing of said Performance Bond, approved as to form by the City Attorney and as to sufficiency by the City Manager, the Mayor and City Clerk, be, and they are, hereby • -Z- authorized and directed to sign the certificate•on said final map certifying that the City Council has approved the same arid accepted all the streets thereon. * * * * * *. * * I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Petaluma, on the 2nd day of January , 1962, by the following vote.
