HomeMy WebLinkAboutStaff Report 5.A 11/17/2014Iff FROM: Agenda Item #5.A November 17, 2014 Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council through City Manager Heather Hines, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Resolutions adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for the Corona Road Subdivision and Annexation Project, supporting Amiexation, approving a 31 -lot Tentative Subdivision Map, and approving Constriction of a Detention Basin within the Urban Separator; Introduction (First Reading) of Ordinances approving Pre - Zoning and designation of the Farmhouse at 498 Corona Road as a Local Historic Landmark. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council continue the item to a date certain, December 15, 2014. BACKGROUND The Corona Road Annexation and Subdivision project was scheduled for City Council hearing on October 6, 2014 and public notice was sent out accordingly. Prior to the October 6"' meeting the applicant requested a continuance to the November 17, 2014 agenda to allow time for updated peer review of the project traffic analysis. At the October 6`h City Council meeting the Council took public comment and continued the item to a date certain. November 17"', without further discussion. To date the peer review of the traffic analysis has not been completed and the applicant is requesting further continuance to the December 15"' Council agenda. DISCUSSION Public notice will be sent to all neighbors within 500 feet of the project site (including the proposed detention basin) prior to the November 17"' meeting to notify them of the requested continuance and new hearing date of December 15"'.
