PETALUMA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO CONTACT PROPERTY OWNERS AS THE NEXT STEP IN
THE LAND RECYCLING, BROWNFIELDS ASSESSMENT GRANTS PROCESS
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the United States of America, federal government have
provided funds for the program shown above; and,
WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Agency has been delegated the responsibility
for the administration of this grant program, establishing necessary procedures; and,
WHEREAS, the Petaluma Community Development Commission (PCDC) is in receipt of
two Brownfields Assessment Grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, through
cooperative agreements dated September 17, 2005, for Petroleum Assessment Grant, and
cooperative agreement dated April 18, 2006, for Hazardous Materials Assessment Grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Petaluma Community Development
Commission (PCDC) is herby authorizing staff to contact property owners as the next step in the
land recycling, Brownfields Assessment Grants process.
