CALL TO ORDER - CITY COUNCIL GOAL -SETTING WORKSHOP 2015 - 8:30 A.M.
A. ROLL CALL
Present: Chris Albertson; David Glass; Mike Healy;
Gabe Kearney; Dave King; Kathy Miller

GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Craig Harrison, Petaluma, spoke about road conditions.
Tim Allison, Petaluma, spoke in favor of a County sales tax.
Richard Brawn, Petaluma, spoke about deferred maintenance on City streets.
Laine Burke, Petaluma, spoke about repairs and upgrades needed at the Petaluma Community
Center.
Andrea Anderson, Contract Fitness Instructor, said the floors at the Community Center are in
deplorable condition and the roof leaks, making it unsafe for people coming to class.
Kristin Winter, Chair, Airport Commission, Petaluma, spoke about rezoning property where airport
hangars are located from non-commercial to commercial to maximize airport revenues.
Tom McGaw, Member, Airport Commission, Petaluma, stated that the airport is an enterprise, but
competes with other airports, and that the Airport Commission can add value and help the
airport remain financially solvent.
Dave Alden, Petaluma, spoke about the SMART train, fairgrounds property, problems with the
zoning code, block parties, and parking management.
Matthew Morgan, Executive Director, Live Oak Charter School, Petaluma, spoke regarding the
fairgrounds property and planning for long-term public benefit.
Harry Clifford, Petaluma, spoke about East Washington Park, and would like to see transient
occupancy tax (TOT) funds dedicated to parks.

Donna Gallagher, Petaluma, spoke regarding fluoridation and presented a petition asking that
the City Council schedule discussion of the matter for a February Council Meeting.
Dale Wannen, Petaluma, CEO, Sustainvest Asset Management, LLC, spoke about shifting
investments away from fossil fuel companies.
